In the conclusion of the album, Charlie accepts that this on and off again relationship needs to end for the final time. As he is stuck being away from anyone he gets close to he realizes that he needs to find someone who can come with him and share life together on the road while also being a better fit for the new him. Charlie looks fondly on their story with a bittersweet happiness for the time they shared while also accepting the end to move forward. Despite any doubts he may have, he knows what he is doing is for the best and that he needs to walk away and continue to learn how to grow into the man he needs to become.
As Charlie talks about feeling like he is no one without her, he has to learn how to be whole on his own. This decision is the final point to ending the story so another one can begin, even though it may be difficult it is what has to be done.
