Breaking Down Never Felt So Good is a energy filled narrative about surrendering to what someone thinks is wise and getting back together with someone that they once knew. As Charlie gets back together with her once again Charlie feels anguish over the on and off relationship that he thought would come to a final end. Charlie has to walk the line once again between being with someone that he loves and the hardship of knowing that it can never work out with her. This song has some of the fastest violin and lead guitar in the entire album mixes a wild side of rock and roll with a fiery bluegrass style coming from the fast paced percussion, banjo and mandolin.

Lyrics

I said I love you till the day I die but you
Said I don't think you should
But I don't give a damn where the rest of the town stands
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good

Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Oh we couldn't stop ourselves even though I know we should
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good

Got out of class and stepped on the gas
Your bedazzled cowgirl boots on my dash
We're an hour from Houston and no one would know
If we snuck off now to the places we used to go

I guess a guy like me wasn't exactly your style
I was the only thing you ever did that was wild
A few stolen hours and that's all that was us
Then you'd go back with lover boy and thing's will be just the way it was

Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Oh we couldn't stop ourselves even though I know we should
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good

Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Oh we couldn't stop ourselves even though I know we should
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good

Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
Oh we couldn't stop ourselves even though Lord knows we should
Breaking Down Never Felt So Good
