Let Me Go Easy is the epidemy of a southern rock ballad. In-between multiple electric guitars, organ solos, amazing drum fills and a painfilled story Charlie Cope delivers through Let Me Go Easy. This song is about growth and sacrifice as Charlie realizes that the person he is with would be better off without him even if he can't bring himself to do end things with someone he loves, he has to ask her to be the one to end the relationship. As Charlie grows as a person he has to sacrifice what he wants in order to do the right thing for someone he cares about.

Lyrics

I guess it's my fault
Things got out of hand
Oh I never meant that much to you but I did the best I can
I guess we shouldn't let them figure out
What they all wish they knew about
And what I wish I didn't know was coming again

I spent a lot of hours
Stealing you from him
To be with what you're parents would call a crazed teenage delinquent
The only time I ever get to say
Anything I need to say is when I was fucked up and drunk and up on some dive bar stage

If you're gonna let me go
Let Me Go Easy
Because I'm tired of having to hide
And we're running along the edge of empty Lord
And I'm stealing you away like it's some sort of crime
Some sort of crime

Don't let me let you down
Because I know eventually I'll live up to all you're doubts
And I don't know if I'm flying or I'm crashing all I know is I should have it figured out by now

Well I don't blame you most would do the same
For you to go with him when you know I'll never change
And every time you cross those tracks back to our little side of town you're always Looking back because you're afraid of who'll find out

If you're gonna let me go
Let Me Go Easy
Because I'm tired of having to hide
And we're running along the edge of empty
And I'm stealing you away like it's some sort of crime
Some sort of crime
